Es asombroso que sean los propios herederos del holocausto quienes hayan elegido olvidar lo que fue vivir y morir en el lugar del oprimido, lo que significó: el desprecio y la constante humillación, la consiguiente suspención de sus derechos ciudadanos y humanos, su conversión en enemigos, en seres indeseables, menos que animales, escoria. Esas palabras inhumanas hicieron posible lo impensable: el genocidio. No es entonces una simple ironía. Es una irresponsabilidad histórica inaceptable y estremecedora que ellos elijan no ver, o peor, elijan repetir esa fórmula discriminatoria sobre los palestinos.
